Richard Dean Smith, age 51, of Alvin passed away on September 28, 2020. He was born on May 9, 1969 in Alvin to parents, George and Linda (Biles) Smith. Richard was a lifetime resident of Alvin.
Richard loved God and his family. It was important for him to spend time with God and read His word each day. Time with family was precious to him and many memories were made in his lifetime. Many of the memories are from his playing jokes on his family and friends. He found great peace in being outdoors and enjoying nature. His other outdoor passions included hunting and fishing.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Kristina Nicole Smith; his wife Stephanie Smith; his parents, Linda and George Smith; his brother, Kenneth Smith and wife Connie; his niece, Brianna; and his nephew, Christian. Also two special young men, Bubba and Ben.
Services for Richard will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Oak Park Chapel. Visitation will start at 3:00 p.m. and the Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Chaplain Tommy Echols officiating.
