Ruth (Stanford) Cope, age 77 of Alvin passed away on December 27, 2019. She was born in Colfax, Louisiana on March 3, 1942 to parents Coy Stanford and Anna May (Bailey) Stanford.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Calvin Cope.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Troy Arnold Cope, Dawn Cope and Paul Stanford; sister, Rose; grandchildren, Talina McDaniel and Taylor; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
