Sarah Kettler Obituary

Sarah Lou Kettler, age 82, was born in Alvin, Texas November 6, 1940. She passed away peacefully on November 17, 2022 after a lengthy illness.  She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest William Corn, her mother, Sarah Blanche Corn, and her brother, Ernest Ray Corn.  She is survived by her husband of 66 years Nero Kettler, son Larry Kettler (Frances), sisters Jeanie Graham, Linda Marshall (Rocky). Grandsons Larry Kettler, Jr. and Jonathan Kettler, 6 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.  She also had 5 others that she claimed as grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a hairdresser for 61 years owning her own salon until it was destroyed by hurricane Ike.  Then worked at other shops completing her career at Kathy’s Hair Design until November 2021.  She was very beautiful, talented, and artistic.  She was a wonderful cook and loved making something special for her family.  She was a master seamstress and baker.  She made beautiful wedding cakes for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
