Sharon Moore Obituary

Sharon (Yount) Moore, a twenty-five year resident of Alvin passed away in the early morning hours of June 30, 2020. She was born on December 6, 1944 to Thadis Yount and Annie Bell (Newsome) Yount in Rockdale, Texas, where she was the youngest of five children.

Before moving to Alvin, Sharon was a long time resident of Pasadena. Sharon had three children, Sherry Boyd of Alvin, Brandi Armstead of Houston, and James Bales of Austin. She was a member of Prevailing Faith Church, Pasadena. Sharon enjoyed family gatherings and meeting with her friends for lunch.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Allen Tengler; sister, Mary Lou Odom, and brother, Thadis Yount, Jr.

She is survived by her brothers, David and Jack Yount; her children, four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and five step great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
