Stella Johnson Obituary

Stella Kay Boyce, 75, of Alvin passed away on October 26, 2020. She was born April 27, 1945 in Abernathy, Texas to William and Charlotte (Hubble) Boyce. Kay attended Abernathy schools. Kay married Marlon Hill on June 3, 1960 and they had five children.  Kay later married T.A. Johnson. Kay was a homemaker while her children were growing up.  After her
children were grown, she served as a loving caregiver and after retirement, she served as a CASA advocate.

Kay is preceded in death by her husband, T.A. Johnson;  father, William Boyce;  mother Charlotte Sandefur; step-father, James Sandefur; and brothers: Ray and Larry Boyce.

Kay is survived by her five children: Julie (Randy) Threlkeld, Marla Allen, Amanda (Rudy) Acosta, Randy Hill and William Hill; her six grandchildren: Anthony, Charlotte, Sheridan, Katie, Damien and Max;  and her four great-grandchildren: Faith, Gavin, Zachary and Milo.
