Obituary
Susan Gayle Dowd, 74, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother was called home to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 17, 2023.
Susan was born in El Paso, Texas on January 22, 1949 to Fred and Sue Gage. She graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1971 with a degree in Education. Susan taught primary school for over 30 years and retired from Mark Twain Primary. She was also very active with the First Methodist Church, teaching vacation bible school and mission trips to Mexico. Susan enjoyed travelling and country western dancing.
Susan is preceded in death and happily reunited with her husband, Tim Dowd.
She is survived by her children Brian, Tracy and Eric Bethscheider. Mother Sue Gage and siblings Betsy Agnich, Fred Gage, Greg Gage and numerous nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends.
