Harley Lee Adams

Harley Lee Adams, 62, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in Pearland.  Harley was born on August 5, 1954 to parents Ira Ross and Vivian “Peggy” (Bennett) Adams in Alice, Texas.    Harley loved life and his family.  Having being named Harley, his brother would lovingly tease him and call him “Honda”.  It was a special bond that was between the two.  He spent his time riding motorcycles, fishing with his nephew, and picking out a tune on the guitar.  He enjoyed sitting out on the porch watching lizards and hummingbirds in the yard or entwining vines that hung from the tree to keep the sun out of his eyes.   He usually would seek comfort after a long hard work day from his fur-babies, Chico and Bittie.  His memory will be forever cherished by all that knew him.

Harley was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Vivian Adams; nephews, Adam Wayne Neal and Jake Adams; and niece, Sherri Smith-Brookshire.

He is survived by his children:  Shannon Griffin, Bussie Adams, and Melissa Johnson and husband Jay; brothers and sisters:  Tommy Ray Adams and wife Carol, Geneva Brookshire and husband Mikel, Pamela Caylor and husband Robert, Vivian Theiler and husband Jerry, Edwin Adams and Valerie Kruger, Deborah Wienckoski and husband Dave; grandchildren:  Erika, Ashlin, Levi, Abigail, Veronica and Alexis; numerous nieces and nephews, family members and friends.
