Randall Harold Cole

Randall Harold “Big Daddy” Cole, 89, of Hitchcock passed away at his home on Saturday, February 18, 2017 under the loving care of the Hospice Care Team of Texas City.  Randall was born on January 11, 1928 in Hitchcock to parents Lonnie and Mary (Hornbussel) Cole. He married the love of his life, Elizabeth “Betty” Cole and remained happily married for 46 years. Randall was a loving husband, father, and friend and would light up the room with his smile. He was a resident of Galveston and Brazoria Counties for his entire life and became a dedicated baptized servant of Jehovah God on March 28, 1976.  It was Randall’s hope that he would be remembered by Jehovah and resurrected in the coming paradise earth. 

“When he awakens, there will be no more tears or suffering and the enemy death will be swallowed up forever” (Revelation 21:  4, 5)

Randall was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth “Betty” Cole; his children:  Randall Harold Cole, Jr. and wife Mary, Katherine Day and children:  Joann Jones and husband Michael and John Fritchman and wife Debbie, Brenda Sue Wood, James Clifton and wife Donna, Ricky Clifton and wife Marilee, and Ronny Clifton and wife Esther; brother Frank Cole and wife Lona; numerous family members and friends.
